Banana
Chocolate Chip Cookies
I have a confession to make… promise you won’t judge me?
I’m not the biggest
fan of bananas. They just aren’t my favorite type of fruit. With that being
said I LOVE banana flavored candy and I like banana when it’s cooked in things
but I just don’t care for the actual fruit. I know what you’re thinking; go
ahead, call me weird if you want to. I don’t mind! I have a lot of weird quirks
like that. I don’t care for cake, but I love cupcakes fresh out of the oven
without any frosting. I don’t handle sweets, as in deserts real well, but I
could eat a whole bag of cotton candy. I think you get the point.
These banana chocolate chip cookies call for a cup of mashed
bananas, and they are divine. They really taste just like banana bread. Bet you can’t eat just one!
Let’s get started…
In a medium bowl mix together
your flour, salt, baking powder, and
baking soda.
Cream together the sugar and butter.
Add in your eggs and vanilla.
Yum? At least in this
recipe it is!
Add your mashed banana, flour mixture, and lastly the chocolate
chips.
Drop spoonfuls onto your prepared cookie sheet and bake.
SERIOUSLY!
The only bad thing about having made these a while ago is that
when I go to post about them I seriously have to fight the urge to go back in
the kitchen and make some more. I have a feeling no one would really mind
though.
Now go make some, and share them with your family, friends,
neighbors, co-workers, just someone! Things like this aren’t meant to be kept
to yourself people!
